To setup PlexBot, you will need to start by going to plexbot.cc and inviting the bot to your server!
Once invited, login to the dashboard and select the server you invited PlexBot to. Then you can configure the options for that server, from modules, to server configuration. If you need assistance with the Dashboard, please see our documentation.
This could be for one of multiple reasons. Please verify the following:
@Plexwill return the server prefix)
ADMINISTRATORwill cover them all)
PlexBot runs on 2 permission levels, Moderator and Administrator. Mod has access to all moderation commands, and other user management ones. Admin has access to everything with regards to PlexBot. (This includes configuration commands)
To set these roles, you will need to access the Dashboard and click "Server Configuration". From there you can change the necessary roles.
addmod <@user> command will give a user the moderation role if it's set.
You will not be able to use any Administration/Moderation based commands without setting the roles on the dashboard.
If a command doesn't work as intended, please let us know using the
bug <text> command. Give us as much detail of which is necessary so we can best resolve this.
When reporting a bug, a PlexBot Developer may join your server to see if the issue is isolated to you only.
If you can't see your server on the dashboard, it's most likely because you don't have the necessary permissions for that. You need either Administrator or Manage Server to do so.
You can do this by enabling the blacklist role through the dashboard, once you do this you can assign a role to a user to prevent them from running any bot related commands.
